Earphones in, music on. How Snugs can boost your running experience

If you are a runner who likes to listen to music, then your earphones are going to be an important part of your training kit. When making a purchase, considerations such as sound and how sweatproof/water resistant your earphones are come into play, but one of the most important is security of fit in the ear. Not only is it highly irritating to have to keep putting your earphone back in your ear during a run, it can impact on your rhythm, sound experience and overall running enjoyment.

Enter the Snugs solution. Snugs replace the generic tip that is supplied with an earphone; instead, you have a custom fit tip which fits your ear only.

  • Snugs do not fall out – every ear is unique, and as Snugs are custom fit to your exact ear shape, they will not fall out
  • Comfortable – Made from a medical grade soft silicone for maximum in-ear comfort, perfect for endurance running
  • Hygienic – Snugs can be removed from the earphone and cleaned regularly to remove sweat
  • Available for most earphones – Snugs are custom fit to both the ear and the earphone driver. We have the template designs and can make Snugs for most popular running earphones including the Jabra Elite Active 75t, Bose Sport Earbuds & Apple AirPods Pro

Fitting methods

There are two methods available to complete your custom fitting, and your choice will depend on whether your preference is for more ambient noise, or maximum noise isolation.

SnugsGo – allows some ambient noise. These Snugs are custom fit to your outer ear to ensure a secure fit, but provide a shallower fit in the ear canal to allow for more ambient noise. Perfect for those who love to run in public places and need environmental awareness as they run.

Fitting method: Take pictures of your ears via our fitting App.

SnugsPro – for those who require maximum noise isolation. These Snugs are made from your physical ear impressions to provide a deep, secure fit into your canal as well as your outer ear, ensuring sound isolation. The choice for those who want to hear only their music whilst they run.

Fitting method: visit your local Audiologist. The cost of fitting is included for orders in the UK and ROI.
