Concert Filters Factsheet
Originally developed for music professionals and music lovers, the concert filters can
be used for a variety of applications where speech and sound clarity is required.
Noise exposure: Music & Events
In music environments - whether you're performing, rehearsing, or attending gigs - sound levels can often exceed safe limits, putting your hearing at risk. Prolonged exposure to loud music can lead to permanent damage, including tinnitus or noise-induced hearing loss. Using hearing protection is essential to preventing damage.
Music Festivals
Peak noise level: 90dB - 100dB
Night Clubs
Peak noise level: ≈ 100dB
Rock Concerts
Peak noise level: 90dB - 120dB
Safe Exposure Time:
At 90db — 2 hours.
At 120dB — 15 seconds!
How it works
The concert filter is designed with your comfort and hearing experience in mind.
Using breathable membrane technology, it helps keep your ears cool and comfortable all day long, perfect for extended wear.
The advanced filter provides flat attenuation across the frequency range, meaning sound is reduced evenly—so nothing is distorted or muffled.
You’ll still hear speech clearly and experience natural sound, just at a safer volume. It also helps regulate pressure, making it especially comfortable during flights, so is suitable for travellers and flight crew.
The concert filter is a great all-rounder, offering reliable protection in environments with steady noise levels across the frequency range.

Why use filters?
Tinnitus
1 in 7 people in the UK are living with Tinnitus. 35% of people reported developing Tinnitus after exposure to louse noise. Chris Martin, Coldplay: “I’ve had tinnitus for about 10 years, and since I started protecting my ears it hasn’t got any worse - touch wood. Looking after your ears is unfortunately something you don’t think about until there’s a problem. I wish I’d thought about it earlier.”
Hearing loss
Around 1.1 billion young people are at risk of noise induced hearing loss due to unsafe listening practices. The rise of personal listening devices including headphones are a contributing factor, as well as inadequate hearing protection in nightclubs and at live events.
Sustainability
More than 1 billion foam earplugs end up landfill each year. Switching to custom fit, re-usable silicone earplugs reduces waste. Made from a hypoallergenic silicone which is easy to clean.
