After you have used your Snugs a few times, there can be a build-up of natural oils (particularly if you are using them whilst exercising). To clean them, follow this simple process:

Step 1:

Put the Snugs in hand-hot soapy water and allow them to soak for a few hours/overnight. Washing-up liquid works well.

Please note: 

If you have hearing protection with a filter, the filter is waterproof and does not need to be removed for cleaning

Remove any electronics/earphones before putting the Snugs in water

Step 2: 

Rinse the Snugs in cold water and allow them to air-dry naturally. They should then return to their original, ‘grippy’ texture

Step 3:

If you have custom tips for your earphones or IEMs, you will need to remove any oils by wiping over them with an alcoholic wipe or cotton bud
